Towards PMPFT

"God creates man, god creates Man destroys god, Man creates dinosaurs, dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth." -- aprox quote, "Jurasic Park" In Chicago's book (actually Luce-Smith's book on Chicago; actually Luce-Smith's book on Chicago's work; ...) There is an image of a "tampon" being removed in its functionally explicit form; or so, the some-what siloheted ?sp? image appears. As to how to address, this (after some thought; ie, after some thought as to how to address this, not after some thought of this), I came up with this: Many men confuse "Tampax" with "Tampons"; that is, they confuse the trade-marked item, from the functioning item. In their (i would maintain) own bourgeois way they are thus in denial of their fear of the true mystery of woman. They like to think about having children, but they don't want to know how their government actually works. They know less about the functioning of the female system (ie, the specifically female part of the female system; eg, they confuse the vagina with the labia and of course they only know of pubic hair what Playboy (TM) show them; ie, highly cropped and culled fuzz), than they do about their remote control for their "tv" set. It should be noted that the decline of western civilisation can be directly traced to the Descartes' exploration of the existentialist proposition: "I think therefore I am", which subseuqently led to the devlopment of the wireless remote. The history of this connection was (finally) expounded in the work of Barbara Kruger in her assertion: "I shop, therefore I am". (it was as the point that the distinguished philosopher got down off of his soap box and fell face first into a load of quite recently deposited horse hockey). And of course: Wibble. (or in the words of Oscar: Q.E.D.) (as to exactly *which* oscar that might be, this is left as an exercise for the student; hint: Left leaning anarchist and part time Kropotkin went so far as to embrace (or at least mention in non-scathing terms his support for) the fundamental range of "action/re-action/idea" to be found in the bounds of: Individualism vs. la pro- pagande par le fait [propaganda of the deed]. And yet in Picasso's work, there is very much the deed, but little propaganda (or at the very least, a Very Proper Gander; see Note 1). So, of course it would be wise to be cautious when dealing with ducks. NOTES: [1] James Thurber's "Fairy Tales for Modern Times" ?title?, refer to "The Thurber Carnival". ?pub-info? ?etc? [2] References were made to the following in the preparation of this work: Edward Lucie-Smith [Judy Chicago -- retrospective Patricia Leighten, "Re-Ordering the Universe: Picasso and Anarchism, 1897-1914", Pp.14-15, ISBN 0.691.04059.1 (1989, Princeton). Also, the author would like to acknowledge discussions with people far too numerous to mention (and would not do so for fear of embarassing them in connection with the current dialog explored -- but you *know* who you are). As well as to thank specific people for grants, gifts, and loans that make this continuing effort to explore (on again abouta the on-going dialog) the current aspects of what art is (or at the very least what the rolé of ducks in art might be; or failing that, that ducks might prefer crackers to rolls anyway).
