(the awfull truth) In this section: Don't end up like me: Don't give out too much info (exact details) at an interview. Interviewer: So, here's a problem we're having how would you solve it? If the I/V'r is a tech type or boss, they may be pumping your for FREE CONSULTATION. Of course if you *purposefully* hide what you could do, then they'll figure it out.... Remember GRACE DRAYTON ??sp?? who created the "Campbell Soup Kids" they only gave her $200 for that. Of course in "those days", no one thought about "residual rights", or "royalties", or "intellectual property rights". As it turns out when George Lucas asked for the "marketing rights" for Star Wars (the original film; aka "Episode IV: A New Hope") the producers sed sure! Of course, this was before we had like, you know SPIN-OFFS, COLLECTABLES, or PRODUCT PLACEMENT. (well other than the 1909 ??date?? French film maker (silent) who filmed a lady haning up wet clothes on a clothes-line and there *just* happened to be an over-turned SOAP BOX (shipping crate) for the basket to rest on. The next day ALL of the stores sold out of that brand of soap. -- Well, that's the way *i* heard the story (tips towel to Dr. Error!).
